How to Use a Grindstone to Repair and Disenchant Items in Minecraft
Using a grindstone is relatively straightforward, as it can be used to either repair items or disenchant said items. To repair an item with a Grindstone, you're going to need two of the same item, such as two iron swords, or two diamond chest plates.
Once you have two of the same item, take the one that’s in worse condition and put it on top, and put the one that’s in better condition on the bottom. It’s worth mentioning that when you do this you’ll sacrifice the bottom one. But once you have both items in there, you’ll see on the right that you’ll have a new and improved item waiting for you.
If you want to disenchant an item, all you’ll need to do is put the enchanted item on top. Once you do that, you’ll see that the item will have all of its enchantments removed and you’ll be able to grab it.
How to Assign a Villager as a Weaponsmiths
Assigning a villager to the Weaponsmiths role is a fairly simple process. All you’ll need to do is find a villager in a village and go to its job block. Once you’ve done that, destroy the block and place the Grindstone near the villager. You’ll know that you’ve successfully changed the villager’s job when you see green stars appear around the villager as well as a change of clothes.
